MiniNail Micro Enail Kit Complete User Guide

The MiniNail Micro Enail Kit is a premium desktop enail from Seattle, USA. It uses a PID controller for precise temperature management, paired with a heater coil and nail to eliminate the need for a torch entirely.

Enail Installation

Step 1 — Attach the Nail to Your Rig

Insert the Nail (Titanium, Quartz Hybrid, or SiC) into the joint of your rig. Choose the correct adapter for your joint size (Male/Female, 10mm/14mm/18mm). Place the Heat Shield for protection.

Step 2 — Connect the Heater Coil

Wrap the Heater Coil snugly around the Nail. Plug the coil cable into the port on the back of the Controller Box. Ensure a secure, tight connection.

Step 3 — Power On

Plug the AC Power cable into a wall outlet and flip the switch on the Controller Box. The PID display will show the current temperature rising to the set point. Heat-up takes approximately 2-3 minutes.

Setting Temperature with the PID Controller

Use the Up/Down buttons on the Controller to adjust temperature within the 65-1000 F range. Wait 5 seconds to confirm the value. The PID Controller maintains a steady temperature throughout the entire session.

ZoneTemperature (F)Characteristics
Flavor Zone500-550 FTerpene-rich, aromatic, light vapor. Best for flavor chasers.
Balanced Zone600-650 FGood balance of flavor and cloud density. Recommended for most users.
Cloud Zone700 F+Maximum vapor density and extraction. Terpenes burn off, reduced flavor.
> Tip: MiniNail recommends the 400-600 F range for the best combination of flavor and efficiency. The display shows the surface temperature of the nail, not the coil.

Dabbing Technique

1. Use the Dabber Tool to scoop a small amount of concentrate (rice-grain size).

2. Touch it onto the heated nail surface.

3. Cap immediately with the Carb Cap to control airflow and lower the boiling point.

4. Draw slowly and steadily through the rig.

5. Swab the nail with a Q-tip immediately after your draw (Q-Tip Tech).

Q-Tip Tech

The most important maintenance technique for enail users: after every dab, swab the nail with a cotton Q-tip while still warm (but not scorching hot). This removes leftover concentrate residue and dramatically extends nail life while keeping flavor clean.

Cold Start Dab

An alternative technique: place concentrate on the nail before heating, then turn on the controller. This produces excellent flavor and makes cleanup easier.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Nail

  • Q-tip swab after every dab.
  • Deep clean: soak in Isopropyl Alcohol (90%+) for 30 minutes, rinse with warm water.
  • Quartz: Heat Clean at 700 F+ to burn off stubborn residue.

Glass Rig

  • Drain water after each session.
  • Soak in ISO + coarse salt, shake gently, rinse with clean water.

Controller Box and Coil

  • Wipe exterior with a dry cloth.
  • Never submerge in water or ISO.

---

Safety

  • Always place the device on a heat-resistant surface. Use the included Slab Pad.
  • Unplug when not in use.
  • Never touch the nail or coil while hot. Allow 10 minutes to cool down.
  • MiniNail draws only 1 Amp — significantly safer than competitors that draw 5 Amps.
  • Backed by a 2-year warranty covering the Controller Box and Heater Coil.
