How to choose a portable vaporizer
Start with how you use it. Short sessions through the day favour a small device that heats up fast. Long sessions at home, or sharing with friends, favour a bigger chamber and a stronger battery.
Then compare four things: heating method, chamber size, temperature control (buttons, screen or app) and the vapor path material. Glass, ceramic and stainless steel paths taste and clean differently. If you often use it away from home, look for a model that takes dosing capsules. You can fill several in advance and swap them in seconds.
Conduction vs convection
Conduction heats herb through the chamber walls it touches. These devices heat quickly, stay compact and cost less, but a quick stir halfway gives a more even session. PAX devices are the classic example.
Convection moves hot air through the herb. Heat spreads more evenly and flavour comes through early, but it rewards slow, steady draws. In our range the Arizer Solo 3, XMAX V3 Pro, Tinymight 2 and LimeLight Frolic sit in this group.
Many models blend the two, including the Storz & Bickel Mighty+ and Venty and the G Pen Dash+. DynaVap is its own category: no battery, heated with a torch or induction heater, with a cap that clicks at temperature.
Brands on our shelves
DynaVap is our deepest range, from the G3 (about ฿1,490), The B and the M 7 up to the VonG, Omni and HyperDyn. All metal, no electronics, very little to go wrong.
For battery devices, XMAX (V3 Nano, V3 Pro, V4 Pro, Starry 4) covers the value end. G Pen offers the Dash, Dash II, Dash+, Hyer and Elite II. PAX has the Plus, Mini 2 and FOUR in a slim body. Arizer's Solo 3 and Air MAX use glass stems. For a main device you will use for years, look at the Storz & Bickel Mighty+ and Venty, the Tinymight 2 and the LimeLight Frolic.
Care and maintenance
Grind to a medium consistency rather than powder, and do not pack the chamber too tight, so air can move through. After a session, empty the chamber while it is still slightly warm and brush it out.
Glass stems and mouthpieces clean up well in isopropyl alcohol. Screens and O-rings wear out; replace them when they clog or loosen. We sell spare parts for many models, DynaVap especially. Keep battery devices out of hot cars, and charge them with the supplied cable or one with matching specs.
