DynaVap HyperDyn Guide - High-Performance Thermal Extraction

The DynaVap HyperDyn is the newest addition to the DynaVap lineup, engineered for maximum extraction performance. It features a completely redesigned airflow system that delivers smoother, less restricted draws than any previous DynaVap model, paired with a Captive Cap and an ergonomic form factor built for real-world use.

Unboxing - What's in the Box

  • DynaVap HyperDyn (fully assembled)
  • Captive Cap (locks onto the Tip so it never gets lost)
  • Enhanced Airflow Body (redesigned internal airpath)
  • Storage Tube
  • Quick start guide

What Sets the HyperDyn Apart

  • Enhanced Airflow System: Reduced draw resistance for effortless pulls
  • Captive Cap: Stays attached to the Tip at all times
  • Ergonomic Design: Comfortable grip and intuitive handling
  • Superior Extraction: Engineered for the most efficient vapor production

---

First-Time Setup

1. Burn-off: Heat the empty Cap 2-3 cycles

2. Verify all components are secure and properly assembled

3. Familiarize yourself with the Airport position on the Body

4. Ready to use

---

How to Pack the Chamber

1. Grind your herb to a medium consistency

2. Lift the Captive Cap up

3. Dip the Tip or pinch in herb to about 70-80% of the chamber

4. Do not tamp - the HyperDyn performs best with unrestricted airflow

5. Replace the Cap

Important: Because the HyperDyn has excellent airflow, loose packing is especially critical for this model.

Heating Technique

Basic Method

1. Hold at a 45-degree angle

2. Light a single-flame torch

3. Aim the flame 2-3 cm from the Cap

4. Rotate evenly throughout

5. Listen for the CLICK and stop immediately

6. Draw slowly and steadily

Advanced Extraction Techniques

1. Stacked Heating

  • Heat to the click, draw all vapor
  • Heat again immediately without waiting for the cool-down click
  • The second cycle delivers denser, more concentrated vapor
  • Caution: Do not exceed 2 stacked cycles to avoid combustion

2. Feathering Technique

  • Heat until just before the click (listen for the faint pre-click sound)
  • Pull the flame away for 1-2 seconds, then resume heating
  • Repeat until the full click sounds
  • Produces very even, controlled extraction

3. Low & Slow

  • Use a very small torch flame
  • Heat slowly at the tip of the Cap
  • Take 15-20 seconds to reach the click
  • Delivers the most complete terpene profile

Tip of Cap150-170°C / 300-340°FMaximum flavor, light vapor
Middle of Cap180-195°C / 356-383°FBalanced, general recommendation
Base of Cap200-220°C / 392-428°FDense clouds, maximum extraction

The Enhanced Airflow System

The HyperDyn stands out with its redesigned airflow:

  • Less draw resistance compared to all previous DynaVap models
  • Cooler vapor thanks to improved air circulation
  • Adjust the Airport to fine-tune your draw to personal preference
  • Works excellently both for direct draws and through water pipes

Using with Water Pipe

The HyperDyn is compatible with DynaVap water pipe accessories. Use a Fat Mouthpiece or adapter to connect to 10mm or 14mm glass joints for an even smoother experience.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Follow the standard DynaVap cleaning procedure:

1. Disassemble all components

2. Remove O-rings - do not soak in ISO

3. Soak metal parts in 90%+ ISO for 10-15 minutes

4. Use cotton swabs to scrub inside the Condenser, Tip, and Body

5. Rinse with hot water and dry completely

6. Apply Dynawax to O-rings before reassembly

Pro tip: Pay extra attention to cleaning the internal airflow channels to maintain the HyperDyn's superior performance.
