E-nail vs e-rig

An e-rig is all-in-one: battery, chamber and vapor path in a single device. An e-nail is only the heating system, so you supply the glass or buy it separately. In return you can use any rig you like and change glass without replacing the electronics.

E-nails run on mains power and can stay on for a whole session, with the nail always ready. They suit a fixed setup on a desk rather than travel, and usually run larger nails than the chambers inside e-rigs.

The MiniNail kits we stock

The MiniNail Micro Enail Kit, about ฿11,900, is the starting point for adding an e-nail to a glass rig. The controller is smaller than a business card, so it takes up very little table space.

The Flower Wand Ball Vape Kit, about ฿13,900, is MiniNail's dry herb setup. It passes hot air through quartz balls and pairs with a water rig, so vapor goes through water before it reaches you.

Before you buy

Check your rig's joint. Most are 10mm, 14mm or 18mm, and either male or female. The nail has to match both. If you are unsure, send a photo of the joint to us on LINE.

Keep the controller away from water, and route the coil cable so it does not drape over the glass or hang off the table edge. Switch off when you finish, and never leave it running when you go out. The coil and nail get very hot, so handle them with a carb cap or dab tool, never bare fingers.

Can I use an e-nail with any glass rig?
Yes, as long as the joint matches. E-nails work with rigs and water pipes that have standard 10mm, 14mm or 18mm joints. Pick a nail that matches both the size and the gender (male or female). Ask us before ordering if you are not sure.
Should I buy an e-nail or an e-rig?
If you mostly use at home and already own glass you like, an e-nail makes more sense: the nail stays hot and you can swap glass freely. If you want to use it in different places or prefer no cables, an e-rig from Puffco or Dr.Dabber is more convenient.
What is the MiniNail Flower Wand for?
The Flower Wand is for dry herb, not concentrates. It is a ball vape that passes hot air through quartz balls and works with a glass water rig. We sell the Glass Flower Bowl and the Titanium Bowl for it separately in Bangers & Nails.
What temperature should I set my e-nail to?
There is no single right number. The controller reads the coil temperature, which can differ from the nail surface depending on the nail's material and size. Start at the manufacturer's suggested setting and adjust in small steps. An infrared thermometer like the Terpometer shows the actual surface temperature.
